Reese Witherspoon appears to be putting on a brave face in the wake of her split from her second husband, Jim Toth.

The Hollywood couple took to Instagram in March to announce they had decided to call it quits and divorce after over a decade together.

A joint statement at the time read: "We have some personal news to share … It is with a great deal of care and consideration that we have made the difficult decision to divorce.

"We have enjoyed so many wonderful years together and are moving forward with deep love, kindness and mutual respect for everything we have created together."

Now, Legally Blonde star Reese, 47, has showed off her youthful new look in her latest Instagram offering.

The actress, who was born in New Orleans and grew up in Nashville wrote "I love the South", as she shared three snaps with her 29.5 million followers.

The first saw the Oscar winner looking radiant as she flaunted her new fringe while smiling sweetly for the camera.

Enjoying the fresh air, Reese then added two images of her magnolia flower surroundings leaving fans in awe of her look.

One commented: "Those bangs looks good on you! I thought it was your daughter for a second!"

According to People, they tied the knot in March 2011 at an intimate ceremony at her family's 1920s ranch estate in Ojai, California.

Reese and Jim are parents to their son Tennessee, but Reese also shares her 23-year-old daughter Ava and 19-year-old son Deacon with her ex-husband Ryan Phillippe.
